Noncommunicable Disease Surveillance, Monitoring and Reporting
The main objective of the Surveillance, Monitoring and Reporting team is to support the collection, analysis, and dissemination of country-level risk factor information to inform and improve public health policy.
Data collection tools
The STEPS instrument is available in xlsform for use with ODK Collect or similar data collection applications. WHO provides countries with free access to a tailored data management platform compatible with ODK Collect, thus offering secure storage of survey data and enabling monitoring of fieldwork in real time at no additional cost.
